This series of 29 large acrylic paintings where two paintings are bolted together with a v-groove between them occupied me for 15 years. In some cases there are smaller studies related to the series, both drawings and paintings, available. My intention was to see if I could make two different times of day, or seasons, or weathers, work together and be perceived as a single image, where the whole was greater than the sum of its two parts.
